They Have Succeeded! London, October 22nd 2016, by Elite Business Women

UK opens its doors to female entrepreneurship and Romanian women entrepreneurs. Following the success with over 1300 Romanian female entrepreneurs, the conference They Have Succeeded will cross the country borders, for the second time this autumn, after Lisbon, in order to promote female entrepreneurship in London. This international event, happening on October 22nd 2016, is organised by ELITE Business Women together with the Romanian Embassy in London, The Romanian Cultural Institute in London, Enterprise Lab UK and Garajul de PR.

The event aims to gather entrepreneurs from all over UK in order to introduce successful business models initiated by women, show the benefits of diversity and exchange of know-how between men and women entrepreneurs.

The Key Note Speakers are Ketan Makwana, CEO & Founder Enterprise Lab, and Derin Cag, Founder & CEO Richtopia. We are honoured to have with us successful business women, such as Catherine-Anne Blaikie, Lift Effects Global Star Award, Lena Kay, Confidence Coach, Entrepreneur, Laura Morrison, Business Mentor & Entrepreneur, Bianca Tudor, Founder Elite Business Women. During the event, the participants will debate varoius subjects: the current context of female entrepreneurship, problems that women as entrepreneurs can encounter, models of women entrepreneurs, how they succeeded facing failure, and also the most important instruments that female entrepreneurs use to develop their business, all over the world.

The first international conference They Have Succeeded happened in Lisbon, Portugal, on September 28th. In Romania, the national campaign covered six cities: Bucharest, Constanța, Cluj-Napoca, Râmnicu Vâlcea, Brașov and Iași, gathering over 1300 women entrepreneurs, 70 speakers and mentors and more than 120 partners.

They Have Succeeded is an unwritten guide for female entrepreneurship that is meant to inspire at an international level and send a positive message: „Yes, we can do it”! The idea originates in the need of having and promoting more models of female entrepreneurs, of understanding their success, their way of dealing with challenges and the motivation of these women, as they are more and more important to the world market, not just as workers or consumers, but also as entrepreneurs, managers and investors.
